I am writing this letter out of sincere appreciation for the fine craftsmanship of one of your furnace installers, John.

My house is small with a crawl space. The old furnace had to be taken out of the crawl space (where it had been mounted horizontally on the underside of the floor), and a new furnace had to be installed in the main floor furnace closet (which had been converted 15+ years ago to a coat closet).

All of this had to be done in the cold. In other words, it was hoped that installation could be completed as soon as possible. Plus, I had requested that central air be installed at the same time.

John made all this happen in one day. He was down in the crawl space; he was up in the furnace closet; he was on the roof; he was out in the back yard. At one point, he even had to return to his office to make custom-cut connectors for the vents. He first made all the calculations like a mathematician, then took them to his office and came back with sheet metal cut to specifications. He hammered and fit everything, and even used a blow torch to get things to fit.

Somehow the old furnace disappeared from under the house. Somehow the new furnace and inside central air unit were positioned neatly in the furnace closet with a very nice air cleaner filter on top and within easy reach. Somehow the outside air conditioner unit was positioned exactly where I had imagined it. And, most magically of all, somehow it all worked and I had heat!

This was not an easy job. But John never gave up on it, even when he took time "to think" on what to do next. I think your company is very lucky to have a man like John working for you. He is more of an artist than an installer. He figures things out in original ways.

My house is nothing much to look at. It is small and old and has survived having three children raised in it. It has grown shabby and in need of much repair. But it is my home and has all my memories. John treated my house with as much respect as if it were the home of a wealthy person. I know my furnace was installed with as much care as if I had lived in a mansion.

John takes his work seriously. And he is a pleasure to have "working around the house". I appreciate the time and attention to detail that John put into his work on my furnace and air conditioner. I know others will appreciate his work too. Thank you, John.

Firstly, thanks so much for sending one of your guys out on such short notice, I've got 20 family members coming to my house for Christmas and a gas leak wouldn't have gone over well.

Second, the service tech you sent out (John) was exceptional. It's one thing to get quality service, but another to have someone be so courteous and professional out in the field. I am in sales myself and you don't see enough service tech's like John. He represents your company very well
