I had a terrific experience with Midland replacing our A/C + attic air handler in south Minneapolis. I would highly recommend their business, and I plan to use them for HVAC work going forward. I especially want to callout Jake for his excellent customer service. He walked me through options of repairing vs replacing my existing system in a way that felt honest & direct, unlike some of the other contractors who looked at my A/C. To be totally transparent, there were some tiny issues along the way, but Midland resolved them quickly & professionally. For example, the installation re-used existing coolant lines, and the city inspector noted that the insulation on those lines was not UV resistant. Jake was out here later that day to add UV shielding and to make sure that I was satisfied with the work. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend doing business with them.

Lonnie Legend In the age of century-old homes, where walls whispered secrets and ductwork was thought to be the stuff of legends, there arose a crew led by the mighty Lonnie. Many had gazed upon our 100-year-old house and seen only impossible twists, ancient beams, and enough surprises to make lesser installers turn back. But Lonnie and his band of craftsmen smiled knowingly, as if they had heard the opening riff to a Red Hot Chili Peppers anthem. They simply nodded and said, "We got this." Like seekers following the Grateful Dead down a long, strange trip, they wandered through forgotten crawl spaces, vanished into attics that time itself had abandoned, and emerged with a plan that seemed impossible to ordinary mortals. When obstacles appeared, they didn't panic they rocked. Every challenge became another solo. Every impossible corner became another verse. Every old beam was treated with the respect of a vintage Stratocaster. By sunset, the Unico high-velocity system had become one with our old home, as though it had always belonged there. Air flowed through the house like the opening groove of "Can't Stop," cool and effortless, while the crew packed up with the quiet confidence of musicians leaving the stage after an unforgettable encore. Some say Lonnie doesn't carry tools, they say he carries relics forged by Poseidon himself. Others claim that somewhere, deep in the walls of old houses, you can still hear the echoes of his crew laughing as another impossible installation becomes another legendary tale. If the Red Hot Chili Peppers wrote songs about HVAC heroes, Lonnie would be on the album cover. If the Grateful Dead needed someone to keep the air cool during an endless jam, they'd save him a spot on the bus. There are installers... and then there are legends. Lonnie and his crew are legends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If your old house needs a miracle, don't look for magic. Look for Lonnie.

I love Midland! Jake was awesome!! He answered all my questions. (I tend to have a lot of them!) He answered my questions in a way that was easy to understand. He was totally willing to “search” all of my rooms to find a sensor that had gotten misplaced! I thought that I was going to need a new thermostat because of my rooms didn’t seem to be the same temperature as others. All he had to do was change one Setting on my thermostat and now all of my rooms are the same temperature. He explained that there was an updated version of the thermostat that I had but I didn’t need to get it because it only had one additional feature that I wouldn’t benefit from! I am super impressed that he did not try to sell me a product I didn’t need! Jake even (willingly) took some time before he left to interact with my cat who had been asking for his attention!! I am looking forward to seeing Jake again when he comes to do my heating tune up in the Fall! Please Note The price I paid also included joining Midland’s service plan/program.

Jake identified the issue installed quickly and this company is fairly priced. Super happy and grateful to them for getting my air conditioning back up and running! Call them first.

I had the pleasure of working with todd and his team, lead Michael. Todd was thorough in explaining what I would be receiving and how installation would go. When the team arrived, Michael explained what they were going to do and how long it should take. Asked if I had any questions and then proceeded to. put down something for them to walk on all the way up the stairs and into the room. Everyone was respectful.and nice! I had my vacuum cleaner sitting out ready to go when they finished. I didn’t need to because they brought their own and cleaned up very nicely. No complaints here just praise!

Midland was able to give us a quote and have a new AC installed in less than a week! Everyone we worked with from Dan coming to give us a quote, Emily getting us scheduled and answering our questions, and Bennett and Thomas who came to install our new unit. Everyone was so kind and amazing to work with. THANK YOU Midland for making our home comfortable again!

I received bids from three companies for my heat pump/mini-split project. Midland's bid was by far the best in terms of what they would provide and the price. Additionally the Midland salesperson was the most engaging and personable, and I felt that I'd rather work with Midland than the other companies, The installation went according to plan....one day with very little disruption to me, as I worked from home. The installation crew was courteous, professional, and capable and worked on an extremely hot day (Monday, June 29) to complete the job. It's only been a few days since the project was completed, but, as of now, everything is working, the house is cooler, and I am a happy camper.

They were very prompt, professional, reasonable and transparent. We had a last minute emergency AC replacement at our house and Midland totally took care of us. Highly recommend.

Our 50-year-old furnace went out and I did not hesitate to call Midland. They replaced it with a new, state-of-the-art Bryant furnace, AC, and heat pump. The installers were swift and clean, overseen by one of the owners. We could not be happier with the experience.

Last week my furnace would not start with freezing weather forecasted. I contacted Midland at 7:30 AM and they showed up the same day at a time that worked for me. The technician was knowledgeable and quickly restored heat. They sincerely had my best interest in mind. Highly recommend.
